In Home Care
Havenwood provides compassionate and well-trained caregivers that allow your aging loved ones to remain comfortable and safe in their own home. Aging in place, especially in Boise (Treasure Valley), Spokane (Inland Empire), and Twin Falls (Magic Valley) is the best option for many seniors, an alternative to assisted living. Havenwood’s compassionate caregivers can be scheduled throughout Boise, Treasure Valley, Spokane, Inland Empire, Twin Falls, and Magic Valley on shifts from 3 hours to 24 hours per day, 7 days a week on a short term, long term and even live-in arrangements. We can be there on short notice when a crisis happens or when care is needed immediately.
Home Health Care Support
When a loved one returns home from a hospital stay, our caregivers can be there to protect against falls, make certain medication, provide therapy, ensure medical treatment plans are followed as well as assisting in the activities of daily living.
Hospice Support
We know there comes a time when the care of your loved one changes from helping them remain independent and living a full and healthy life to providing comfort. Hospice organizations may become involved in the client’s plan of care when the prognosis is months instead of years. We can help support the family and your loved ones and allow you to focus on the important thing, your relationships.
In Home Respite Care
We know your duties and responsibilities as a family caregiver can be exhausting and we understand the need to take a break from those duties. As a caregiver, it is important to take care of your needs so you can provide your loved one with the best care.
VA Provider
Havenwood is a provider of VA services both through their social service and medical benefits as well as through their aid and attendant program. If you are receiving care through the Veterans Administration, you may be eligible to receive in home care support.
Medicaid Provider
Havenwood is an approved Medicaid provider in Idaho and Washington, although each state has different programs and qualifications. If you are receiving Medicaid benefits, you may qualify. Generally, anyone who qualifies for long term care under the Medicaid program can choose to live at home and receive services which allow them to age in place.
Who Pays For Your Service
Paying for long term care is a challenge which many families face. Most people believe that aging in place and keeping their loved ones in their own home is a better solution than moving them to a facility and in most cases, it can be the less expensive financial alternative.
